I've actually had a lot of success with this; you do get lumpy dehydrated bits; but since I usually only cook it for myself there's normally more than enough.
The trick is to break it up repeatedly as it cooks and don't expect it to be looking like anything other than a mince like mess.

Boiling is the true way to go.

microwaving haggis is fine.. if you take it out of its wrapper first.. I take it you found this out the hard way:)

I had microwaved haggis a few nights ago. Lovely. Prefer boiled, but it's 1hr+ versus 5 mins. Unwrap and put in a dish, cover with something vague (kitchen roll, pierced clingfilm, etc) and nuke it :)

I guess oen of the adavantages of helping out natalie is I get to stay at her parents and the wondeful chippy at locherbie is with easy reach!

haggis in a microwave, should be boiled or roasted than topped of with a nice whiskey sauces
