Unintelligent Design

Finally watched the last two episodes of Life on Mars.

That... was an interesting finish.

I like it.

Life's still pretty good. I'm just mentioning this because, well, normally I don't mention this.

Read back through five years of my LJ (something which I wouldn't exactly recommend...) and the "yes, life is good" aspect is not always terribly obvious. Probably because it doesn't exactly invite comment (unlike mashed potatoes) or supply useful information.

Right. Application for new and shiny job submitted. Let's see how it goes...

I appear to have a job for a little longer than expected. I'm also applying for a different job tomorrow, as I've found out about it at the very last minute. This could be fun.

This should be fun. Allegedly the Cruxshadows play the Agra at 1AM. Er, and the Levellers are just below Subway to Sally on the Monday night line-up. Some would say that this is merely as it should be. They obviously need more bagpipes... :)

The universe will not do it for you. But sometimes it may throw random good stuff in your direction. Or just find a sneaky way to usefully distract you for a bit.

Sometimes there's just no alternative to sorting stuff out.

My brain hurts. I'm very, very tired. I'm mildly homicidal.

I have just enough time for lunch between meetings. Even Blair's resignation announcement has failed to brighten my day. This is not so good.

Hopefully I'll have a nice, quiet evening once I escape.
