On the plus side, the bathroom now has a bath again (albeit with a big "Do not touch!" sign on it), the courier got here and collected the picture for Harrods, BT have upgraded my broadband, the bathroom door's been replaced with one that opens the other way and stuff is generally going well.
The gardeners didn't turn up, but that's not entirely unexpected. And you can't have everything, can you?

Aug. 31st, 2008 04:55 pm...if anyone happens to know somewhere in the midlands that buys Agas/Rayburns for renovation and resale, please let me know. Or anywhere further afield that would be interested in collecting one from the Midlands, for that matter.

Aug. 26th, 2008 10:05 pmInfest seems to have been interesting this year. Not sure if I'll be going next year. I'd quite like to, but there's a large chunk of me that's just not up for the party-party-party side of it these days.
If I'm going, it's for the people and the music - and I'm going to be relatively sober for the duration. Now, admittedly, relatively sober is a loaded term at Infest... but you know what I mean.
On a similar note, Afterparties are fun, but I do actually need some sleep... and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to sleep late in the mornings...
Hmm. Something to think about later.
