A bit of all three, probably. I was certainly a fan of the old series at the time - I may have borrowed a few Tom Baker taped-from-tv videos from people, and I still had fond memories of watching 'em first time around.

But without new episodes, it probably didn't get quite so much discussion.

The revival probably helped. So did the DVD releases and sharing houses with mrbear and jambon_gris, who are both fans...

Ahhh, yes. With the Kroll Synchronised Aerobics Team *grin*.

I didn't realise it was now out on DVD. Notes to self - look out for it (not a Massive Tom Baker fan, but I liked that set).
