I was sure Blair would - somehow - get that clause through. I'm immensely glad that he didn't.

I have increasing confidence my MP, Harry Cohen, even though I didn't vote for him. Yay.

Mine, on the other hand, is still one of Blair's most loyal goons. Bob Ainsworth, deputy chief whip.

[and Reading the Harry Cohen entry, I think I quite like him:

"A former local government accountant, he is on the left of the Labour Party, and voted against military action in Iraq.
