The mobile phone's on its last legs - the fully-charged battery ran out after a five minute conversation with
mouseboks the other day and doesn't want to recharge - but after a little investigation, it sounds like it's not actually the battery itself at fault...

Date: 2004-10-01 03:17 am (UTC)Very small, only 10x4x1cm, and being a non-flip, non-twist phone with no moving parts it is very, very hard wearing. Also interchangable fasicas- although viewed by many as a chav fashion feature, I find interchangable covers very useful as I frequently drop the phone or put it in my pocket with my keys, resulting in scratching/chipping/breaking the cover. Cheap replacement fascias are available from www.mobilefun.co.uk .
My only other advice is to avoid Series 60, Symbian and 3G phones like the plague. They're slow, crash-prone and bulky.
