Anyone interested in meeting up for an (earlyish) Saturday lunch in Coventry? Inspire, say, at about 12:30? Please comment if interested...

Humble apologies to [livejournal.com profile] scarybex, as I'm now definitely going to have to drop out of the BrumGoth meal due to a slight case of London. Although it's now a Manuskript gig rather than a Sex Gang Children gig, which makes me feel a little better about it. ;-)

I must remember not to get distracted when cooking. Boiling the bones dry is not the best way to make good chicken stock, and it's murder on the saucepan too.

I've now realised that the KM .mp3s up on yahoogroups are complete songs, it's just that I have problems downloading the whole thing. Although the first half of Enter The Dagon seems to be the most interesting bit of the song, so I won't worry overmuch about that one (to be fair, it does start very well, so...).

The upg post confirming that The Nephilim have disowned the new album arrived about four minutes before Amazon's confirmation that they'd just shipped it to me. Luvverly.

I will be back in work a week or so after Whitby. Even if that means serving burgers or sweeping floors. I'll also have some decent burglar alarms installed by then.

Next week's Question Time is in Coventry. Panelists include Peter Tatchell, Terry Pratchett and Anne Widdecombe (an... interesting... mix). They're still looking for audience members. Heh. Just how tempting is that? :-)

New Union Street, just where the precinct opens out onto the road? Yep, I think we're talking about the same place! (I hope)

See you there.

I'm so sorry, I didn't make it. My mum phoned and I had to talk to her for an hour an a half. I hope you didn't hang around unneccessarily waiting for me to show.

Oh well, I suppose I can have something vaguely resembling a social life some other time. Doing anything Wednesday night?
