So...

Part of Tony Blair's reaction to recent shootings is to consider criminalising gang membership. Right. Ok.

Somehow I feel that this might be tricky to prove/disprove/enforce.

It seems that Tinariwen have a new album out. And they're playing Warwick Art Centre soon.

Oysterband also have a new album out. They're playing Birmingham in a week or two.

I blame [livejournal.com profile] mister_jack. As usual.

Not for the whole weekend, but he is responsible for quite a bit of it. Including some of the good bits, such as watching Top Gear visit Alabama...

Still in London. B-Movie was a great deal of fun (and it was good to see various unexpected folk again...!). Lunch at St. John was also rather good - and it [livejournal.com profile] ninshubur's gathering last night was very good indeed, especially as I haven't seen folks in far too long...

And drinking La Fin Du Monde was also quite pleasant. First time I've seen it on sale in the UK - the last time I drank that evil, evil stuff was Convergence 8 in Montreal... :)

Home soon.

I'm in London. In an hour or two, I'll be heading off to B-Movie. It's going to be a silly weekend. There may be quotes.

Yukio Ninagawa's bringing another Shakespeare production over to the UK this year.

I've mentioned Brian Haw before. Probably as an example of just how ridiculous our lawmakers can sometimes be. After all, it's not everyone who gets their own personal law, is it?

Well, he was back in court again today. He won. Heh. Result. It won't be the end of it, of course, but still...

"We did want to interview someone from Channel 4, but they declined to come on"

Edit: "First we had no luck with Channel 4. Now we're having no luck with the Attorney General either". Heh. He's enjoying this, isn't he? :)

It's ok, the game doesn't actually exist. Well, not verifiably. According to Wikipedia, that is.

Sorry.

Reply to this post, and I'll tell you at least one reason why I like you. Then put this in your own journal, and spread the love.

Some answers may not be entirely serious :-)

Edit: Life (and need for sleep) means I'm not responding as fast as I should be. Will reply to other comments tomorrow (19/1). Yes, am rubbish. Am also windswept and zombified.

Pictures. Including furry ears, disturbing hats and the infamous moose attack.

All pictures are currently public. If you're pictured and don't want to be, let me know and I'll remove the photo.

[livejournal.com profile] sobrique, [livejournal.com profile] jorune and Steve (WINOLJ) are all owed various amounts of payback, btw. I have a long memory, guys... :)

Google fails me. I'm still unable to find the much-mentioned dubious photos from November's Club Misbehavior.

Can someone ([livejournal.com profile] blooddoll3? [livejournal.com profile] purplebenji?) post a link? If there's incriminating evidence out there, I should probably see it at some point... :)

Hmm. Enjoyed that. Much better than last year's Christmas special.

Season #3 trailer looks rather intriguing, too.

Kat Flint. Secret Boys Club EP. Excellent stuff. The lyrics quoted above are from Fearsome Crowd, which is one of the songs streaming on the myspace site. Ohio & Anticlimax are also pretty damn good.

Yes, I know I've probably mentioned this before. :)
