So... "The Girl Who Waited"...

Good, bad or a cause for concern...? I gather that this one has divided opinion...

It was moving and Karen Gillan did a good turn. I accept that there are practical questions about how she survived but such concerns are commonly brushed over in modern Who.

I've had the same thoughts. I think the problem is that they've set so much up with River Song and the Doctor's death that I'm kind of just waiting for the resolution of that still. The last couple of episodes, whilst good, feel like they're out of order somehow. Why are we not on the right plot!?

I generally enjoyed it, even if watching it I was very much "I would have done it differently". Some elements I am.. wary of, but might be foreshadowing? Also some of the bleakness seemed a more "on a budget" than "the terror of loneliness" due to the pacing of the episode. Maybe another one in my "Needs two episodes" list.

Merited an 'it's ok' Not overly sold on it, but quite liked the concept.
