Much to my surprise, I managed a decent cauliflower soup last night.

People ate it. Some had seconds. One briefly grumbled that he didn't like cauliflower much - an hour after finishing his seconds - which I'll take as a compliment, of sorts. :)

Possibly worth noting that this was 'cauliflower and chive' (NCG recipe) - no cheese was involved.

(My only grumble is that I had to buy chives - I've just divided and repotted mine, so they looked too frail to cut... )

Soup is the only way in which I can stand cauliflower but only with enough other ingredients to maks the flavour.
Well done.

Soup was made, and it was consumed. And, for containing little more than albino brocolli, it as *awesome*. It was thick and felt buttery in the mouth. It was slightly sweet and soothing. There was something parsnipy about it, but without the warming pepperyness. Relaxing.

On a dog scale (O being Toy Poodle and 10 being Dobermann), I'd give it 'Husky'

Buttery...

25g butter, added at the start when softening the onion and the potato. Plus a couple of tablespoons of plain Greek yoghurt stirred in at the end. Not a lot of dairy, really... :)

Still plotting the next game. Will then plot appropriate soup. :)
