After several attempts in recent years where I didn't quite get it right, this week I finally seem to have cooked a decent oxtail stew.

Other than that, it's all a bit quiet hereabouts. I blame the snow. :)

From the one in River Cottage Everyday, which (I think) is available online somewhere at the www.rivercottage.net site. Third recipe I've tried from that book, and they've all been pretty successful...

I did mean to post a slightly longer piece, but I got catted. It's not easy to type while being prodded in the wrist every few seconds. *sigh*

Oh, both of us are on the guestlist for next Tuesday night with a +1. Which is handy if we come across magical creatures that are immune to normal weapons on the way down to Oxford, we will be able to have at them with our magical listing.
