Invocation

Do I want to do London / Invocation next weekend? Possibly with a bit of random wandering around London beforehand.

I think the answer is yes, but I'm also a little scatterbrained and unsure whether or not I've already booked myself up for something else. I don't think I have, but...

I'd half-intended to make it to the last Vagabonds, but didn't in the end -  and it's about time I made it back to a few more goth nights.  So, is anyone else planning to be there...?

Is Invocation next Saturday? Possibly not the best day to go clubbing, as I suspect most people will be on Wrecked (goths on a boat...). Though that's probably worth doing if you can find a ticket.

Depending on the weather, goths on a floor that's not moving ever-so-slightly of it's own accord might be better for me. :-)

Even if it is likely to be a smaller-than-average number of goths.

I'm back from NZ on Friday 19th and specifically didn't book on to the boat trip in case I am jetlagged, but judging by the lack of ill effects on the way out here, I'm thinking I'll probably be OK. What/where/how much is Invocation? I could possibly be tempted if it's close enough for me to bail early if I am knacked.

Invocation's a (mostly) trad night near Tower Hill - 9pm 'til 3am, £5 or £6 on the door (depending on when people arrive).

I definitely won't make it this time - it clashes with a friend's birthday party this month. Might try to make the October one, though.

Dunno....I doubt i'll be there. My outlook has both Wendyhouse (leeds) and Nightmare (nottingham) in it as a reminder of whats going on the weekend.

From other comments on here, its also wrecked, which i know quite a few people at, so may be a better plan if i got dragged down to london.

I'm curentyly tempted with Nightmare as its the closest and a friend just moved to notts and as such is worth bugging =:-)

All of this is true, but as a non-driver, London is usually simpler for me. And it's been far too long since I did Invocation - almost exactly two years, in fact...

I now have some vague plans to meet up with London people while I'm there, too, so it looks like London's the way forward for me.

I would like to make it to Nightmare again at some point, though...
