Somehow, I'd failed to notice that there was a new Diana Wynne Jones book out (until lurkingcat pointed it out to me) - House of Many Ways, a sequel (of sorts) to Howl's Moving Castle...

Strictly speaking, we might get two - there's already one sort-of sequel, Castle in the Air, although most of the Howl cast aren't centre stage in that one...

Castle in the Air is the sequel to Howls Moving Castle. House of Many Ways follows on from that.

It's good but unfortuantely fairly short and doesn't really go anywhere. Aimed at a slightly younger audience than Howl's Moving Castle I suspect.

I have read Castle in the Air, I just forgot to mention it when posting. D'oh.

Although as mentioned above, the main Howl characters are offstage - or disguised - for most of it, so it doesn't entirely feel like a proper sequel...
