Well, ok, that might be a little harsh - but the season one arc is being overplayed (it doesn't have to be in every single episode), it's getting a bit formulaic and it was trying to be serious and dramatic this time...
...without much success. Although it should be noted that watching it on iplayer probably doesn't help my attention span.
Oh well. Next week might be better.

Date: 2008-07-25 08:50 am (UTC)It also doesn't help that I know a few archeology types throguh the re-enactment so I know where they are "cutting corners" for dramatic purpose.
I mistook it for a deadringers sketch to begin with, until about 10 minutes in i noticed there were no punchline sto the jokes:(.
