Along with Battle of the Planets, it's one of the things that deeply warped my mind when I was just a sprog (Star Fleet, that is - not Brian's singing...)

It also occasionally killed characters, if I remember rightly. I didn't get to watch many things that did that - Doctor Who and Blake's 7 being the other notable exceptions.

It's probably responsible for my childhood belief that villains get all the best costumes, too. Or at least the spikiest ones :)

Note- Brian May recorded and released his version of the theme tune because he and his son both loved the programme so much.

Why yes, I do have the 8 1/2 minute version as an mp3.

I even bought some crackly VHS copies for the society once, but never got around to making my own copies so still have the tapes.

Let's be honest- this was the dog's bollocks.

The distributor is based in the UK, and apparently it's the pristine UK dub. Huzzah!
