...y'know, I'm still not sure what I think of the show.

It has moments of pure genius. Girls Aloud and the Shaolin Wedgy, for example. But the Freebies themselves - I know they're meant to be walking cartoon characters, outlandish even when judged against the rest of the world... but they just don't work for me.

Aside from that though... hmm...

Thought it might be dire, but Phoo Action totally won me over. It left me wishing that it was a series pilot rather than a one-off.

I liked it, and for the budget I'm glad they're doing a "full" (by BBC standards) series.

But I can't help thinking that it was all a bit early 90's. Perhaps Carter USM's 90's revival has arrived, but in reality I suspect that if I'm 36, and I think something's cool, then the youth of today probably think it's dire.

That probably sums BBC3 up; middle aged people trying to be cool, but actaully being "Embarrasing Dad".

It's got a good beat!
