Fire, winter and wine

Sunday wasn't quite Michaelmas, but then nothing's perfect...

The best way to greet winter (at least as far as I'm concerned) is with roast goose, good friends and fine wine. In those terms, I think we succeeded.

I personally think the best way to greet winter is to bundle up the family and flee south. Unfortunately, it's a bit awkward commuting to work from the southern end of Spain!:-)
