Last time I went a medieval banquet at Coombe Abbey, they had young girls with large bosoms singing old English folk songs like "Spotted Cow". I preferred Steeleye Span's version.

Yes, they had that too. Just a touch of pantomime to the whole thing - I think the Warwick version has a little less, from what I've heard.

It was great fun - deeply silly, and there were enough of us to have the whole 'mob effect', too.
