Normality has resumed. It's definitely a Monday.

Fortunately, I'm off to Leipzig on Thursday, which may help a little. Then again, it might not - there are plenty of good bands playing, but I'm still a little low on enthusiasm.

(Note to self: mead and absinthe are not appropriate substitutes for enthusiasm)

I suspect that I'll be in Morrisons Irish Bar at some point on Thursday night. May see some of you there?

davefish also avoids these places like the plague - I'm not so fond of then myself - but Morrisons isn't actually bad. We only had to drag him in once, anyway...

It's good German beer, good German food (even if some of it claims to be Irish - it's usually lying!), interesting spirits and a pleasant goth-friendly atmosphere. It's also open late... :)

It does have some Irish pub aspects to it - the name, the Guinness option, some Irish whiskey and so on - but it's definitely German and definitely not too twee. It's here, by the way.

I admit I've not yet got particually worked up - partly due to work leaving me somewhat run down and partly due to the number of bands I'll be missing on the sat. I'm fairly sure though once I get there the old buzz will be back. See you in Morrisons.
