Orange Wednesday.

X-Men 3.

I don't feel I was robbed. Not as good as the second one, but some nice moments. Some unexpected ones, too - I'd been avoiding spoilers and was rather surprised at a couple of the twists.

Nice take on Madrox. Silly helmet on Juggernaut.

Juggernaut was always a silly character anyway, I thought.

I quite enjoyed it, but fail to understand how juggernaut got out of the ground after wosserface-wot-can-go-through-walls-and-stuff deposited him up to his shoulders. Earlier in the film when we first encountered juggsy we were told he had to build up momentum to use his powers, hence why he was all strapped down in the truck. A moment of forgetfulness there on the part of the script writers, perhaps. But yeah, it was kinda fun.

Of course not being a mutant but gaining his powers from a crystal, makes the film version of the Juggernaut sit uneasy with me. Leech shouldn't have any effect on him but I'm picking nits. Being played by Vinnie Jones doesn't help either.

For me the big disappointment was not seeing any detail of the sentinel/wolverine/fastball special in the danger room.

"Of course not being a mutant but gaining his powers from a crystal,"

He gained his powers from a crystal in the comics as well, though I think he was retconned as a mutant.

ah, I might have read your point wrongly there.

Apparently I`m a geek. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and Major Benson turned up in an old issue of X-Men I was reading the other night (somewhere between 200-210) and I came over all giddy.

I'm definitely a geek. Because I think you're about ten issues out - it was a little later than that, wasn't it? Dazzler, Juggernaut, 'mutant massacre' fallout?

I hated it.
Its not that it was a bad movie, it was what they did to phoenix (making her look like she had a bad day in the office or PMT, and dead) and too many characters and too much going on in the story line.

I hate to say it, but I enjoyed MI3 more...
It was just severely lacking something for me.
