I saw it earlier. It appears that Alan Moore's character driven study of Madness and Transformation has been dropped for a zeitgeist feel of it's you vs the govt. An underlying metaphor but not the whole story. In the graphic novel I see a series of introverts go through their own private traumas and it is V's role to make evie see the bigger picture and then the wider London public see the bigger picture.
I wonder if the Wachowskis and Joel Silver have those ideas and blown them up to Hollywood proportions, as is natural and proper for them.
