Only one of those quotes was me. And it wasn't a terribly incriminating one :)

I dunno. Whitby, for me, is a lot like (my admittedly limited experience of) Convergence. If the bands are good, hurrah. But I'm not generally there for the bands - I'm there to see friends, make new friends and enjoy myself.

Which usually involves good food, alcohol, early morning silliness and so forth. The official event has never been the best thing about WGW - and much as I love the 80s night, it's the daytime entertainment that really makes it worth going.

Well, that and going shopping for mayonnaise and horseradish sauce with a drunk dmh at 9PM on a Monday night. But that's another story. :)
