The forthcoming Nervosa album is called "Sorry We're Late"

I'll stop laughing in a moment. Really.

[To judge from the samples on the website, it's also going to be bloody good]

At least 5...

At least five, I think - I vaguely remember the new website bio saying the first incarnation wrapped up in 2000, although I always thought it was earlier than that.

My last clear memory of seeing them is the Top Mum Christmas Party in Birmingham (where they supported Rosetta Stone), back in '97. Craig standing on the speakers, Jo Hampshire joining Rosetta onstage for a cover of Republica's "Drop Dead Gorgeous" (iirc). Great night. :)

Feck. I'm old. :)

Craig is always wonderful. :) They did always remind me a bit of Republica, too. :)

Saw the first incarnation of Nervosa live in December 1999, so they were still floating around then. Interestingly I also heard an entirely unofficial demo tape of their "to be released" album in early 2001, but it never got released as it wasn't as good as it could be. Saw the latest incarnation live about a year ago, and they sounded hugely better. :)

Want the new album now! :)

The story of the album non-release was more owing to their new "manager" who was promising them all sorts of things, including a record deal, none of which actually materialised. Those original album demos were superb and produced by Jon "Specimen/Siouxsie and the Banshees" Klein

J & I were there as well. We were living in London at the time and drove up with Sexbat and crew in J's old Volvo estate. The roads were very foggy.

Top night!

And I'm still older!

Craig's always been very good as part of Nervosa, IMO. I'm not the greatest fan of his WGW host routine, but as a rawk guitarist, he ain't bad at all. :)
