mrphVoting's over. BBC just started talking about the exit polls - they predict Blair's majority will be cut to 66 (it was 167 after the last election).

Date: 2005-05-06 02:07 pm (UTC)Like a lot of Labour MPs, Prescott sat through terms in opposition where a 66 majority was the stuff of pipe-dreams. To have it as the result in a third term is the sort of thing they'd have sold their grannies into slavery for. I suspect he can live with this happily enough.
