I've not seen this one reported in the UK just yet - presumably because the Telegraph (source of this AFP story) is going to be the first to print it...

So a report whose import was that caveats and warnings in a document were "watered down" on the instructions of Downing Street was itself watered down on the instructions of Downing Street... sigh...

having read bits of the bultler report it seem in a few places it seems to present lots of quite damning facts then producing a conclusion with is very damning by corollary. I.e when talking about the presence of weapons of mass destruction concluded that the UN weapons inspectors did a very good job in suppering Iraqs weapons program. ie Iraq doesnt have any weapons program.
