RPG spoddery - Amber!

Sometimes, for no clear reason, it all seems to work. I'm not claiming that Monday was a perfect example of this, as it certainly wasn't flawless. But, as GM, I've not enjoyed a session that much in quite a while.
The characters all managed to meet up in one place (and we had a full set of players, aside from
Not at all the session I expected it to be, but perhaps it's actually better that way. The party dynamics are now quite well defined, and nobody really seemed to be getting sidelined. The NPCs seemed to come across as distinct personalities (always a worry when there are several of them 'onstage'), and player speculation and conspiracy theories abound - they no longer seem to take anyone entirely at face value.
Which, IMHO, is exactly how it should be for Amber.
