I've just watched the trailer for the Hellblazer movie, "Constantine".

Bad dialogue, wooden acting and (from the looks of it) an emphasis on action rather than suspense/horror. Bleurgh.

I don't really have a problem with Keanu in the right role, but John Constantine he is not. I'm sure there are some things you can transplant to LA without losing anything, but John is British. His most successful stories have taken place in Britian. Neither his forays to the US or Australia worked were successful. Oh well, no point in getting annoyed, it's not the first time Hollywood has made a bad movie. I suppose after X-Men and Spider-Man I was hoping for something more...
