Boots, where?

Long, long ago I ordered some new boots. This was mostly so that I'd have something suitable to wear to the November Whitby, as my current boots were disintegrating.

Whitby didn't turn out to be much of a problem, in the end - Marc Elston had a pair (cuban heel stetsons) in my size (not his) in need of a home, and giolla was in a similar situation. And there was a rather nice pair of pointy shoes (proper 80's vintage!) at the WGW bazaar. So I sort of forgot about the boots I'd ordered, until one pair turned up in late November. There's still no sign of the other pair.

I'm now starting to think about buying something new (possibly in white patent...) for next Whitby. On the assumption that if I don't order them now, they may not turn up in time... *sigh*

On a far less delayed note, the new Psychophile album turned up in the post yesterday. Which is good. For once, the postman managed to fit it through the letterbox instead of leaving it on the porch. Which is also good.

I'm not quite sure yet. Something I can walk/dance in, preferably - so nothing too clunky, and nothing with ridiculously high heels.

I'm planning to seriously dress up a bit next WGW, and there's probably a white/black/gold colour scheme creeping in, but I'm not quite certain of the details yet...

Hmmm..that sounds interesting....you did used to be able to get white buckle up winkle pickers once...dont know if they still do those......
