It's official. FFX has eaten my soul.

Proper update to follow. Soonish. Really. Just as soon as I've finished tweaking some writings, grabbed some food and helped Our Heroes escape from the damn desert... :)

I found that once I had done all the main stuff, I was curiously disinclined to move on to the running around building up strength part.

Maybe I'll go back to it later.

That's my traditional problem with FF games - "OK, have done all the plot stuff, now it's time to visit the [flying castle|flying continent|crater|wherever] and finish off [kefka|sephiroth|ultimecia|whoever] once and for all! ...if I can be bothered..."

Unless there are some really interesting side quests to distract me, it all gets a bit dull at that point. Although I did finish VII and VIII in the end.

I had no problem with VII-IX. VI made me lose interest at the final dungeon, though, because some of the enemies were quite hard and you had to use all your people (some of whom suck).

Actually, I think I'm now cured (for the moment) - I'm almost at the grand finale, the remaining side quests are Just Too Hard for me, and I don't want to charge on and finish it just yet...

But yes, very pretty and very stylish.
