Rain is good. Pubs are good.

Dashing out to the pub, in the rain, but forgetting to take your house keys...well, that's not so good.

This is where having a front door (and no access to the back) that only shuts when you lock the mortice lock is an advantage.

I still might lose my keys while I'm out, but I can't leave the house without my keys unless I leave the front door wide open.
