Yes, I'll do a write up. But later, when I'm coherent again. In the meantime, here's a list of oddstuff:

Broccoli. Eric. The See Wall. Cuddly bats. Less cuddly (but still very cute) bats. Inedible mustard. A man who could bore for England and wouldn't go away. Glowsticks. Vampires in Transmuters. Rain. More rain. A pizza place called "Gizmos" where the menu transforms at midnight. Bad pr0n on the screens at Sexy Sunday, which was arguably enough to put the attendees off sex for weeks. 616 Abortions (the band formerly known as Squid) and 'Duracell battery' impressions. A large book shop with a small dog. Very good company. Curious kids and pool tables. CDs for £1 at Nightbreed. Some good bands. Much fun.

So, next one's September...? :)

The broccoli clearly made a profound impression, I remember discussing it with you just before apop!
You ill too? I sneezed all the way back down the motorway Sunday, quite literally, went through every tissue in the car, and have spent the best part of 2 days in bed!
Nice to see you though :)

Well, yes. I mean... it's Dance of the Vampires. Everyone's dressed up to the nines (and many pairs of fangs were being worn). There are bands on, the drink is flowing freely.

...and the buffet's serving brocolli florets, celery sticks, cheese sandwiches and so on. It just doesn't seem to match the atmosphere - although they were very edible, so I'm not actually complaining. :)

Was nice to see you, too - we only ever seem to meet as festivals. As for the evil bug, I seem to have much the same as you. Spent today in bed, surfacing only for lemsip and a jam sandwich. Wonder how many other Morecambe-goers got it? Blech. :(

But APB still made it all worthwhile. :)

The vegetable display was Natasha's fault - she asked whether there would be any veggie food, and apparently the Strathmore hadn't even considered the possibility of veggies at the Masked Ball. So the vast array of vegetables were down to her. I have a lovely photo of [livejournal.com profile] manuela stuffing her face with broccoli. :)

Claire Wain uttered:
"The vegetable display was Natasha's fault..."

OI! I saw that!

At least it meant that Morph got *some* kind of vitamin last weekend... he destroyed it anyway with vast amounts of mead, which is why he's ill now :P :P :P :P

Then Morph croaked:

Cuddly bats.

ooh look! That's my, or rather Colin's, fault again!

Less cuddly (but still very cute) bats.

whoops, that'll be me too! I wanted to cuddle them but I'm not a trained bat handler so I just had to make do with gently stroking one on the head. I WANT A PET BAT AND I WANT ONE NOW!
*runs off to sulk*

and 'Duracell battery' impressions.

RAOTFLMAO! We are so going to give that man a complex... and it's all my fault... again! He sent me an email saying I'd be pleased to know he's removed the offending yellow bits now ... I think I'll just go and hide because I seem to have been the instigator of all things evil last weekend... :'(

OI! I saw that!
*laughs* Thought you might! ;)
I thought you might be pleased to know that your word had been heeded - not much in the way of protien (unless you count mushrooms?), but enough raw vegetables to feed the five thousand!

I WANT A PET BAT AND I WANT ONE NOW!
I have just got a huge book on bats out of the library to console myself. The bat with only one wing got himself stuck in the kitchen paper on Saturday, and hurt himself trying to get out. :(
I wanted to take him home and make him all better.
