Today is officially a Good Day. I'm surrounded by decent music (2003 Hands album, new Melotron and Subway to Sally singles), I have decent coffee in the house again, life online is fluffy, I don't have to rush off anywhere and there may just be a job lurking in the near future.

Not having heard Sonic Surgery (or any other Klinik, 'til now) it's hard to judge. The new stuff's good IMHO, though.

Sonic surgery is a cross between ambient, floaty trance and some noise elements. Definately one of the best albums I bought last year. Really looking forward to the new stuff on the compilation :)

Cool :) If it's not tempting fate - how did the job interview go?

Odd. I can do the job, and they made noises abot getting me in for a "sample day", but I still think the things they were showing me were the things I knew - the stuff that comes with the territory and can be taken for granted.

The things I wanted to know were more along the lines of 'would I deal directly with customers?', 'who am I working with if I get the job?' and so on. They were happy to tell me all this, but it wasn't in the initial spiel, which surprised me.

It was a bit odd having an interview with no CV - all they knew was my name, and zero about my background - but in some ways I think that went well. It let me explain and field questions instead of presenting everything in two not-terribly-convincing pages. :)

Fingers crossed.
