From here (BBC2, Newsnight)
JEREMY PAXMAN: And you believe American intelligence?

TONY BLAIR: Well I do actually believe this intelligence -

JEREMY PAXMAN: Because there are a lot of dead people in an aspirin factory in Sudan who don't.
Well worth reading in full. Much as I'd like to think that someone, somewhere is giving Powell, Bush and Rumsfeld the same kind of grilling, I doubt it. Although I'd be happy to be corrected.

Last night's Telly

The interview was fascinating. The gist of Blair's argument seemed to be, "I know best - trust me". He's clearly lost the plot.

Later on in the evening there was an interesting debate on Question Time, with Shirley Williams and Billy Bragg both talking a whole lot of sense. And this was followed by a discussion of Blair's move to becoming the "true heir to Thatcher". It's just downright depressing.

Still, it'll be interesting to see the demo in London next weekend, I've got a feeling that it'll be a big one.

No, that's always been his method.

I remember that from my time in the Labour Party, back when it was left wing...
