Parcelforce are utterly incompetent sometimes, aren't they? They actually had two parcels for me at the start of the week - my boots and some stuff from Amazon. When they missed me they left one card, which meant that when I phoned them, they re-arranged delivery... of one item.

The other, it seems, is sitting on a shelf somewhere. And they've closed the ticket/whatever tracking it, as they think they've successfully redelivered it. Muppets.

In other news, Natasha's birthday party was much fun (we ended up reviewing the cake. No, really - she was taking notes and will be writing it up. Professionalism to the last :) and paulw is a top bloke. Despite the rumours. :-)

(no subject)

Not a terribly useful day. Woke up late, and failed to put the dustbin out. Wandered into town to visit the ever-friendly Job Centre and sign on, failed to write anything useful (just one piece to go, and I'm done), and generally lazed about.

Oh, and bought some RPG stuff.( Deadlands spoddery )
