mrphNot a terribly useful day. Woke up late, and failed to put the dustbin out. Wandered into town to visit the ever-friendly Job Centre and sign on, failed to write anything useful (just one piece to go, and I'm done), and generally lazed about.
Oh, and bought some RPG stuff. The Deadlands Mexico supplement and the Lost Colony setting. The Mexico supplement is uninspiring. Lost Colony isn't bad, except... the premise involves massive spoilers for the accompanying Hell On Earth game and massively shakes up that setting by killing many interesting people.
The Lost Colony bad guys, however, are a pleasant change. I won't discuss them here, as there are players out there... but they're fun. There are also rules for Deadlands nanotech and its human handlers (yep, spot another new character type) - interesting.
More worryingly, there's no talk of future supplements for it - instead, more details on areas/groups will be provided in the Epitaph magazine. Sounds as if Pinnacle's a little bit unsteady right now... :-(
