The website with full details is here. The summary is:

Dates: Fri 28th Feb, Sat 1st March (+Sexy Sunday on 2nd March)

Tickets: £23.50

Bands: Apoptygma Berzerk, Star Industry. Two Witches, Swarf, Manuskript, Inertia, Pro Jekt, 616 Abortions (the band formerly known as Squid)

I don't know how much self-catering is, but the guesthouses listed on the website are about the same (or perhaps slightly cheaper than) Whitby prices.

As I'm currently jobless, I'm not able to send cheques for block bookings of tickets and accom. Although if anyone else is doing that, I'm interested and can pay my share up front.

As well as (in competition with?). Different event, different management.

Went to Morcambe once (2001) to see the Eves. There are far more B&B's and Hotels than the website gives. For a selection of places try the following link http://hotels.uk.com/morecambe.htm
Ended up in a small B&B for about £13 a night not the Ritz but not a flea pit either. Chatting to the landlady - they hold the Holidays in the Sun punk festival up there which is apparently several times the size of Whitby and they don't run out of accomadation.
