Well, thank feck for that. The heat was killing me. And right now, the sound of raindrops hammering the pavement is lovely.

I've just taken a brief stroll around the garden in the downpour. I'm soaked to the skin and I feel great. Normal service is now resumed.

Can we have some now please. I'm dying in this little room witha pc, vid and tv all making more heat.

Hate lightening since the house got stuck though so may have to hide under the bed!

Could tell the storm was coming: it was one of those evenings with a dark sky, yet with a strange golden light. I stood on the balcony wearing only a pair of shorts. Could feel the warm, heavy raindrops beat down on my chest and shoulders. Wonderful.

It's still hot and sticky here. The radio says it's going to rain today. Of course it is - I watered some plants in the garden last night...

We had it for aobut 10-20 minutes, but it was quite mild. I'm hoping there'll be more at night - it's much more beautiful when it's dark.
