Yes, I'm bored and trolling for comments. So I thought I'd do a survey of sorts (but without all the LJ-Poll mechanisms) - how do you take your tea/coffee? Or do you avoid both?

Coffee gets half a packet of Splenda and enough french vanilla creamer to mask the worst of the coffee taste (I drink it for the caffeine, after all). Tea gets nothing added.
Tea: Anything without citrus, any way it's prepared. Plain, sweet, milk/cream/whitener or no, whatever. Iced, lukewarm, hot, whatever. :-)
Coffee: Must have milk/cream at the very least. Sweetened and iced with cream is my favorite. I have a nonelectric espresso maker, and I love to pour espresso over ice (sometimes I even use espresso ice cubes), add three teaspoons of raw sugar, and then pour in half-and-half (or a vegan substitute when I'm not doing dairy, which is all the time any more). Yummmmma.
That is a complicated one; sometimes white, sometimes black, sometimes white with sugar, sometimes without, sometimes black with sugar, sometimes without, sometimes strong, sometimes weak.... and if you want to call me different; I can tell you that I am not as Ammi does the same ~ with us the words "how would you like it today" have to be used ;)
Coffee: less often than tea. If good, then usually black, often with no sugar. If (most) instant, then white, one sugar, usually.
Tea: if generic-teabag, then (usually) milk, one sugar, though if I'm LBS, then two, but I'm happy with none. If good, then black, no sugar, usually. If green tea, or lapsang, then for definite no milk no sugar. I can be tempted with lemon. Iced tea is also good. Less frequently herbal, and, if so, probably hibiscus.
Coffee: milky, no sugar. Has to be real -- instant coffee is without exception unpalatable to me. My coffee consumption has gone up a lot since we bought a coffee machine, though I still have to be in a particular mood to drink it.
Coffee - a little semi-skimmed, unless it's really good quality and really fresh, in which case black. With a little brown sugar if after a very heavy meal.
Tea - india, weakish with a little milk; china (but not Earl Grey), lemon, and green tea, without. Absolutely can't stand tea with any sugar in. Blech!
Coffee: black, no sugar. Tea: an optional tablespoonful of milk depending on what sort, no sugar. As you may have noticed, I find that sweetening hot drinks is an abomination unto the Lord and my vengeance will be swift. As long as immediately spitting the stuff out counts as vengeance, that is. Isn't that what the cool kids call it?
I don't like tea at all, and have only ever drunk two cups of coffee but they were both laces with a load of chocolate and marshmallows.. I like the smell of coffe though, so I'm half-way to liking it, I suppose.
OTOH, I drink loads of Red Bull, Blue Charge, Irn Bru and Pepsi.
I concur with the earlier opinion that coffee is the very anal seepage of Satan. Tea, on the other hand, is prepared in the canonical manner - mil and one.

Tea with milk and 2 sugars...more if a giant size mug (I prefer PG Tips but will drink most brands).
Also love iced tea in hot weather.

Date: 2002-07-03 12:46 pm (UTC)I prefer green teas but drink black tea especially if its Lady Grey or with rose, jasmine or orange blossom.
Still can't drink tea with milk and sugar - it makes me depressed.
