...as I've probably said before, very few things in life are better than a really good vegetable samosa. But a small glass of Moniack dark mead, sipped at the end of a very long day, might just be one of them.

I feel better now. Time for some sleep, I think.

According to livejournal, our only shared interests are mead and Neil Gaiman.

Actually, I suspect a lot of that's the result of the way we've written our lists. Mine's (deliberately) very much a list of authors, bands and the like - yours seems to be a little more varied. Also, there's polyamoury (which isn't in the interest list 'cos it's a feature, not an interest IMO) and Princess Bride, too - PB is listed in my netgoth profile , but somehow didn't get added to my LJ one.

Poly as a feature...I like that. However, lj doesn't have a list of 'features', and it's important enough, I think, that anyone Stalking me know about it, that I surely couldn't leave it off.

And there's other things on your list also, that I didn't list that I'm interested in. Just not interested enough to list. And when you say the word 'list' too much it, like any other word, loses meaning.

LOL

I can see your point, but given that I spent most of Convergence hoping that a certain person Stalking me wouldn't hear about it, as the knowledge that I was "sort of attached" seemed to be the only thing that saved me... *sigh*

I dunno. Scared back into the closet (if only temporarily) by a random goth. There's just no hope for me.

More seriously, it doesn't feel like an interest, or as if it's really a defining feature. More like background radiation. It's just there, and I guess it's part of my mental makeup, but it's too close to get perspective on. I can't see how integral/important it is, as it's under the radar. If that makes any sense at all.

One of these days I'll find a worthwhile LJ poly community, and then it'll become a little more obvious to anyone scanning my profile. Or I'll end up adding uk.people.polyamorous as an interest.

Alexander Wines in Coventry. I blame [livejournal.com profile] mr_tom and [livejournal.com profile] mrbear for introducing me to the wicked place...
