BBC - 'Deepest ever' living fish filmed

Deep sea creatures used to fascinate me when I was a kid - especially the adaptations they need to survive, and the idea of somehow retrieving them alive and well in a pressurised tank...

Wow!. they are so cute.... and really awsome.. It is turely amazing what we are still discovering.

They kind of look like a cross between a plecostamus(sp) an oranda and a large tadpole.

I think it's been done, but I'm not sure how long they survived - there are some comments about this an an earlier BBC piece:

When I was a kid, I was a little more optimistic, hoping for pressurised tanks at the local sealife centre... :-)

My Dad used to scare me with graphic descriptions of deep sea divers getting the Bends. But he also taught me how to punch properly, in case I ever got attacked by a shark.
