Home improvements, day one...

• Kitchen taps now working.
• Wireless broadband sorted, if not actually set-up yet
  
• Bathroom stripped back to bare brickwork. Ceiling tiles, ceiling plaster, bath and sink removed and binned.
  
• Bathroom light (and extractor fan) switches underway - the pull-cord's being replaced by a switch on the landing. The recess has been done, and the backing plates are fitted, but there's nothing actually wired to it yet...
  

I can't actually claim any credit for this (aside from the broadband) - it's not DIY - but it's not a bad start.  And I should finally have a working washing machine installed in the next couple of weeks, too...

Wow, that's an impressive amount of stuff going on. Hooray for lovely new bathrooms! (Mine's been sans electric since the rat in the attic ate through the wiring... must get it fixed one day.)
