Aug. 21st, 2008 08:28 pmI appear to be able to kill horseradish. Or at least make it severely unwell. Given that it's supposed to be "invasive" and almost impossible to eradicate, that's not bad going.
Unfortunately, I was trying to keep it alive. Ah well.
I suspect the problem is all this unseasonal rain - it hadn't been repotted since it arrived and it looked a bit waterlogged. It's now been moved to a bigger pot, packed with different compost. Hopefully, it'll recover.

Date: 2008-08-21 09:27 pm (UTC)I don't like horseradish. Perhaps I can hire you and send you walking about the planting fields. The resulting crash in horseradish stocks might just prevent some idiot from putting it on my roast beef sandwich instead of the mayo I asked for.
