Right then. I figure everyone who's going to comment on the Johari Window probably has done, so I'm going to ramble about it a little. After thirteen votes, the general verdict is that I'm friendly, calm, knowledgeable, logical, trustworthy and dependable. Hmm.
  • Nobody thinks I'm spontaneous. Which, I guess, is fair enough - I think I am, but not when other people are involved. If I've got company, I plan stuff. If it's just me, I make it up as I go along. If it all goes wrong and it's just me, I can always find alternatives and it's not going to stress me - a little more care and attention is called for when others are involved, though.
  • Nobody thinks I'm especially happy, mature, loving, idealistic or sentimental. Woe is me. Nobody thinks I'm religious, either - which I'd disagree with - but then I don't tend to talk about faith on LJ much...
  • Only one person thinks I'm proud. That'd be someone who knows me pretty well, and it's an entirely fair comment - I am. Evidently it doesn't show much (although I bet you'd get different answers from anyone who's ever worked with me).
  • I wonder if I'd get the same reaction on 'stubborn' (which wasn't one of the options) - I don't know whether I come across as stubborn until someone actually runs into it. I suspect that I don't, most of the time.  Possibly it needs a warning sign.
  • One person stated that I'm extroverted, as opposed to several votes for introverted and quiet. I wonder how much I've changed over the years - the extrovert vote came from [profile] evilruss, who's known me since 1990 but hasn't seen me much in recent years. Back in the early 90s, I'd say it was a label that definitely fitted - now, possibly not so much.
Hmm. I'll throw this one open to the floor. Now that the results are in, do they look a bit like a [personal profile] mrph?

I think the thing about the Johari Window, is that it isn't all the things you think about that person, but just 5 or 6.

I'd agree - but it's the five or six that seem most associated with them, at least in some cases...?

I'm really just navel-gazing again, anyway. I'm always a little surprised by how other people see me.

I think possibly, from the outside, people are going to chose 'qualities' like friendly that are positive, rather than 'attributes' that are neutral like happy. You could be happy and an utter twat.

Honestly, I think you're a pretty Awesome individual. It's why I'm friends with you. :-)

Inselberg. :)

(I typed that 'Inselbert' the first time. I think I may now have to insert a Sir Inselbert into Pendragon; if you like, I'll make him famously spontaneous.)
