The chives are alive.

I'm not entirely sure I have the patience for it. Or at least not for the first bit - watching a pot full of soil, hoping that sooner or later something green will surface and keep growing...
I'd pretty much given up on the pot of chives that's now sitting on the patio. No signs of life for, oh, at least a week...
The first green tips were visible this evening. Heh. And since they're supposedly a hardy perennial, I shouldn't need to plant any more of 'em for a few years. Well, ok, not unless I kill this batch...
