LJ Friends Groups (idle thought)

Y'know, what would be really useful is some sort of search/summary tool, so that when you're reshuffling friends groups you can see which of your x-hundred past posts are visible to which groups.

I've absolutely no idea how practical it would be to implement one, though. I don't suppose anyone's aware of such a handy thing already existing out there?

There was an API for doing comment searches and stuff, back in the day, but it got removed as the site got larger and the searches got too expensive :( They've been saying it'll coming back for months now, we wait in hope ;)
