Hmm. Could have been better, but still... not a bad start. 80s cop shows aren't 70s cop shows, so it was always going to be a little bit different. Alex may take some getting used to  - and her outlook makes things a bit... different.

Great soundtrack, though. :)

Thought it was disappointing - and a bit forced in places. The "car bonnet" scene had me in hysterics though, and it was amusing to see George and Zippy again. It all seemed a bit... lacking. An awkward mix of rehashed one liners from Life on Mars and some spoofery of 80s "gun" shows... The 80s setting didn't seem that convincing, either.

I quite liked it. they had that sort of 80s hair and sholderpads thing going, as well as 'every cop and villain wants to be in Miami Vice' feel.

Besides, I could watch Keeley Hawes for quite a while before being bored.
