So, this weekend...

I had a very pleasant Sunday lunch at the Bear, my new television was delivered, I actually watched Doctor Who on Saturday and I haven't really had much sleep.

I enjoyed Dr Who a lot (although a new TV would have made it even better!) - first time in a very long time that his alien-ness has been highlighted so well, and so darkly.

The new TV is shiny. However, my reception is still utterly pants - so I had shiny-but-blurred on a big screen. :)

But yes, best thing so far this season (if anything, I preferred this to the first part).

The story had huge problems with internal logic - it didn't make much sense - and seemed to be a rewrite of the jesus/sacrifice biblical story. I won't even mention the way the baddies were defeated... Shame, as episode one was building up nicely.
