Theoretically, yes. =) I suspect it will depend in part on how horrifically painful airfare from here to there is in June.

The last time I saw Oysterband Big Session, it was stuffed in some dismal back room in Brum, with a group called the Handsome Family providing some of the dreariest, dirgiest rubbish I've ever had to sit through. Jim Moray popped in for a few songs, but even he couldn't rescue it.

The Big session at Warwick Uni some years back was a classic - the Oysters, Eliza Carthy, Rose Kemp (Daughter of Maddy Prior/Rick Kemp from Steeleye Span), Jim Moray and others who I've forgotten.

They've also had Karine Polwart (Ex-Malinky) at Warwick recently (Faultlines is an excellent CD) and Kate Rusby, who seems to continue to be, erm, Kate Rusby. Good stuff!

Oysterband Big Session 2005 last year was truly fantastic and one of the highlights of the summer. A weekend of awesome music and we drank the real ale tent dry. Still not sure if I'll make it there this year - I may have other plans for this summer.
