Breath of Life
Frankenstein
History of Guns
Manuskript
Spares (Ex Children on Stun)
Swarf
Zombina & the Skeletones

"Plus one unconfirmed...."

Works for me. One band I've wanted to see for a while (History of Guns), five I like, one I'm vaguely intrigued by but have never really heard.

That's a pretty good line-up actually...although Manuskript again? Don't get me wrong, I like them as a band and as jolly good fellows, but how many times is that now? I'd like to have seen Trauma Pet or Razor Blade Kisses get a look in. Still, that's just me. I'm not the one who has to go through the hell that must be getting these bands on the bill, but I'm assured it ranks up there with having your fingernails pulled out one by one.

I'm tempted to go now, if it's affordable.

That's Manuskript's eighth time at Whitby!

Yes, it has been quite a few (but never, to the best of my knowledge at the expense of any other bands) Officially this is the first time since Nov 2003, the one we played in the interim (Nov 2004?) was a last minute stand in when James Ray Gangwar cancelled for 'unspecified reasons' (whatever the hell that means!)

Yay Manuskript! Oh, and yay Swarf too!. Am distressingly uninformed about most of the rest of them (I have a feeling that I missed Zombina & the Skeletones last time around).

I wouldn't mind seeing History of Guns, and Breath of Life were good when i saw them before. Zombina should be good value, too. Who are Frankenstein? Much cop?

Not bad, but nobody I'm going to drop everything to see. Better than I expected, though, and if I was thinking of going I'd be encouraged to.

Frankenstein rock deathily. Excellent live performers. :-)

Frankenstein are a LA based Deathrock n roll kinda band. Bit like Birthday Party meets The Cramps/Stooges. Features Steyvn Grey on drums [from The Last Dance]. They are pretty cool [and quite brave for WGW, IMHO]....

I'm hoping to catch 'em over here, though probably not at WGW.

Won't be able to go, but I really like History of Guns. They've done stuff with the Meads Of Asphodel and everything.

Ack! Whitby in "actually good lineup" shocker when it's unlikely I can make it.
