Cool. Thanks for the Gaiman news. Even the man himself hasn't mentioned this yet on his blog.

I've got high hopes for this one - I always liked the Eternals, and the fact he's spent so long choosing the right project is also a good sign. The Gaiman take on Celestials will also be something to see. Given how well Marvel did out of 1602, I suspect that we'll get a very good artist too...

Of course, it may also mean we get a careless and clueless sequel written by someone else, but them's the breaks. :)

I haven't got the link to hand, but there's an interview about this online somewhere, with a little more detail - plus mentions of the 'Absolute' Sandman collection(s) on the way and some new Sandman work being planned for the 20th anniversary in a couple of years time.

[Shit. 20th anniversary of Sandman? I feel old... the 20th anniversary of Watchmen didn't have quite the same impact, somehow...]

The Torchwood thing caught my attention. Seems a huge U-turn for the BBC who have in the past been so very negative and unsupportive of Sci-Fi.

The bad news is that K9 is back in the new series of Dr Who (for at least one episode).

I can live with that. Depends how he's written, really. As a deus ex machina he was annoying, but he was quite fun at times...
